Product Description

RFoG is deep fiber network design in which the coax portion of the HFC network is replaced by a single-fiber, passive optical architecture (PON). Downstream and reverse path transmission uses different colors (wavelengths) to share the same fiber, typically 1550nm or downstream and either 1310nm or 1590/1610nm, but early deployments have used 1590nm. Using 1590/1610nm for the return path allows the fiber infrastructure to simultaneously support both RFoG and a standards-based PON, operating with 1490nm downstream, and 1310nm return path wavelengths.

SR801BU RFoG is a Bi-directional Optic receiver with RFoG technology and Optic AGC function. It works on transmission layer of RF video, DAVIC, and DOCSIC, extending the optical network to home or building without the need of adjacent HFC optical node (directly from Headend to Home/subscriber), Saving lots of RF amplifier and optic node, thus it can improve the quality and stability of network operation.
